Measuring the Penis
The next section explains
how to correctly measure your penis. This is
important as you need to know where you stand now to know where
you want to be.
Before you begin any penis enlargement program,
you should know where you stand. That way, you’ll be
better able to determine a realistic enlargement goal for
yourself. So, you need to measure your penis.
To do this, you should first
measure your starting lengths, both flaccid and erect. You
should also keep a logbook of your gains. Remember to be
negative in your measuring and round down the totals, so that
when you do see gains you don't think it's just because you
didn't measure correctly! You should only measure once every
month, since this makes it easier to motivate
yourself.
Measuring the Flaccid Length
The flaccid length of your
penis can be affected by many things, including the
temperature. It’s true! This
might mean contradicting results depending on the temperature
of the room you‘re in. Flaccid gains are often the first gains
you will notice when
beginning your penis enlargement program.
To keep results accurate, it’s
important to have a standardized way of measuring the flaccid penis.
Measuring from the side of the penis is best.
Stand up straight and extend
your flaccid penis in front of you (it important NOT to stretch
it), making it parallel with the floor.
Place the ruler next to your
penis so it is slightly pressing against the pubic bone, with
the ruler right alongside the penis. Measure to the tip of the
head in millimeters or inches (whichever you
prefer).
The important thing is that
you always measure the same way and do not change your
measurement units.
Measuring the Erect Length
As you might imagine, the erect length is what
most men are interested in. Again it is best to measure
from the side of the penis. This method is the
standardized method that researchers use to measure the
"average penis size" which is between 6" - 6.5" erect
length.
Firstly make sure you have a
100% erection for this. Hold your penis below the head and
place the ruler next to it with your other hand. The ruler
should be slightly pressing against your pubic bone. Measure to
the nearest millimeter or inch, rounding down to the nearest
decimal point. Measure from the base to the tip of the head and
make a note of your measurement.
Measuring the Flaccid Girth
Measuring girth is easier than it
sounds. Simply measure the center of your penis while it’s
flaccid by wrapping a tape measure
around it. Don’t pull the tape
measure too
tightly.
Use a slightly firm pull,
without squeezing your penis, and use this same amount of pull
each time you measure. The average girth of a flaccid penis is
between 3” and 4”. Make a note of your own
measurement.
Measuring the Erect Girth
Make sure your penis is 100% erect before you
measure. Once erect, hold your penis out in front of you so it is
parallel with the floor.
Wrap a tape measure around the
center of the shaft, using the same amount of firm pull you
used with the flaccid measuring. The average girth for an erect
penis is 5” to 5.5”. Make a note of your personal
measurement.
Tracking Your Gains
The reason you are embarking
on a penis enlargement exercise program is
because you want to increase the
size of your manhood,. Therefore, it makes sense to
keep track on your gains. You can
use a table like the one show below to record your
own measurements, updating them
every 4-6 weeks. By keeping track you will
help to keep yourself motivated
when you start to see gains in the length and thickness of your
penis!
